Johnson adds to growing list of Seahawk Commits

Austin Johnson becomes the second Seahawk to Commit this week and the Second to SUNY Morrisville NCAA DIII.

We are excited for Austin and his family. Austin has proven to be a nice asset on the blue line for the Seahawks, playing in all situations and adding 10 points in 27 games. "Austin is a very mature person and a very nice player, that is a student of the game. Austin wants to get better, he has a high compete level and we are excited for Austin and his family."

Quote from Johnson -

"First of all, I would like to thank my Mom and Dad for all the support and encouragement. They believed in me and gave me every opportunity to pursue my dream of playing NCAA hokey. I want to thank my U16 coach and friend Mykul Haun for his advice and guidance. It made a huge impact on the person and player that I am today, I would also like to thanks the Seahawks organization, Warren Nighan and Coach Mike Sherman for putting together a great hockey club. Finally I want to thank Coach Zaniboni for teaching me what it means to be first, a good person and then to be a good teammate and hockey player. Your Support, encouragement and belief in me over the last 3 years is a major reason that I will now be playing at the collegiate level."

The Seahawks will play in the Showcase Sunday and Monday then are off for Winter Break.
