Moore Continues Academic and Athletics as a Thoroughbred

The Seahawks are excited to announce that goaltender Blaine Moore has committed to Skidmore College NCAA DIII. Blaine is a great kid and came in to our program and fit in right with our group on and off the ice. We are excited for Blaine and his family, as Skidmore is a great academic and athletic fit.

Here is what Blaine had to say about his commitment: " This year has been a crazy and eye opening year without a doubt. Between crazy schedules and quarantines, it has definitely been the most turbulent year of my junior career. Which is why I am so incredibly thankful that Coach Hutchinson reached out to me at the beginning of this season. Skidmore is a mere forty five minutes from my parents house in a beautiful town of Saratoga. I have played and trained with several goaltenders and players alike from their program. I've heard nothing but great things about the coaching staff and players. I cant wait for what lies ahead and I am excited to see my Seahawk teammates grow and excel at their respective programs".

Here is what David had to say:

"I am extremely excited for the opportunity to join Saint Michael's hockey program. Thank you to my coaches, teammates, and family for all  that they have done to get me to this point. Novotny becomes N.E.C Pilgrim

The Seahawks Hockey Club would like to announce that first year forward David Novonty has committed to continue his academic and athletic career at NCAA DIII -  New England College in Henniker, NH.

David is a craft forward who competes like a dog on the ice, his speed and grit to compete and win will fit in well with coach Carroll and the Pilgrims.

Here is what David had to say: " I am super excited to join such a great program that competes at the highest level of D3 hockey. Since I started my hockey career, I have always strived to play at the highest level possible and NEC fulfills that goal. Playing prep school hockey at Williston Northampton and most recently the Seahawks Hockey Club has shaped me into the player I am today. The Seahawks gave me an opportunity to be an impact player right away which helped me ultimately  find a great program like NEC. I would like to thank my coaches, friends and most of all my parents that have sacrificed everything to allow me to purse my passion"
