Scott McManus excited to play for former professional at Suffolk

The Seahawks are excited to announce that Scott McManus has committed to Suffolk University to continue his academic and athletic career. Scott arrived during the covid season as his U18 team had to shut down. Although young, Scott had great compete and the drive to get better everyday. Scott was then Drafted in the NAHL and started his season there. When Scott came back he had a goal and that was to lead the Seahawks and make sure he did his part to have a successful season(s). We are excited for Scott and his family. 

Here what Scott had to say " I am very excited to announce my commitment to play hockey at Suffolk University next season.  I would like to thank my family and friends for al sacrifices and support I've received that have lead me to this point. I'd also like to thank the Seahawks Hockey Club and Coach Zaniboni for helping me grow as a player and person these past three seasons. I am thrilled to play under Coach McEachern and look forward to continuing to grow in my hockey and academic career at Suffolk University. 

 

Forselius excited about joining St. Mikes

High flying left wing to St. Mikes

The Seahawks Hockey Club is excited to announce that Left Wing Hans Forselius has committed to St. Michaels College in Burlington, VT. Hans Has been with the Seahawks for the past two seasons and has shown great poise with the puck and the vision and ability to make plays in high traffic areas. Here is what Hans had to say about this decision. " I first off want to thank my parents for giving me the opportunity to play junior hockey. I would also like to thank Coach Zaniboni and Coach Richard, who have helped me grow so much as a player and person. I am very excited to be joining Saint Michaels this coming fall. The schools' academics and strong hockey program made it easy for me to make this decision."

 

Big Ben off to Saint Michael's College NCAA DII

The Seahawks Hockey Club is excited to announce the college commitment of Ben Baxter. Ben grew up on Cape Cod, Ma and found his path using the Seahawks EHL program right in his back yard.  Hearing Coach Zaniboni talk about this one, he had a little more excitement about it.  " Having Ben play for us the past 2 seasons is what we what this program is all about. Ben grew up playing hockey on Cape, he did leave for a PG season at Proctor, but came back to his roots and it's paid off for him.  Ben is a great kid and comes from a great family and we are excited for them to continue on the journey".

 

Here is what Ben had to say about his recent commitment.

" Having a chance to play junior hockey on Cape Cod and play for the Seahawks is something that I am very grateful for. I want to thank my parents for giving me this opportunity to play junior hockey for the past two seasons with the Seahawks, they have always supported me throughout my years of play hockey.  Also, I would like to thank Coach Zaniboni and Coach Richard for their help over the past two seasons, they pushed me every day to become a better hockey player and person. I am beyond excited about my commitment to Saint Michael's College, when I stepped on campus it seemed like the best fit for me and with the great location and strong hockey program, I could not be more excited for the next four years".
