Seahawks Hockey Club are coming off a great year finishing 26-16-4 and a great playoff battle where the season ended in overtime on the penalty kill. The second season for the Seahawks and we continue to see continuous college commitments and players building the community and youth hockey on the Cape. The man behind the scene that recruits, coaches and mentors these players Coach Zaniboni, was awarded the 2018-2019 Coach of the Year award in the EHL.  When we asked coach about this award and what it means to him, his response was simple " its the group, the group that we had is the reason I was awarded this. well, that and the votes from my fellow coaches, which is extremely humbling. The league has great coaches and for them to vote for myself is a nice honor, and I say the group because they are they guys that buy into the culture, they are the guys that sacrifice and pay the price and that's what makes out job worth it". Coach Zaniboni has now won Coach of the Year 4 out of the last 6 years. We are very happy that he is behind our bench and the life lessons that are presented and support these players have to grow and mature before moving on in life and hockey career.
