Second Year Forward Ariel Kapulkin to Wentworth Institute of Technology

The Seahawks Hockey Club are excited to announce that second year forward Ariel Kapulkin has committed to Wentworth Institute of Technology. We are very excited to Ariel and his family as we know he was looking for a good balance for hockey, academics and lifestyle, in which he found Wentworth check all the boxes.

"Ariel had a very big summer in development and showed he is always looking to get better. His determination to never settle has shown in his numbers this season, last year producing 3 pts at the EHL level and now having 25pts with a handful of games remaining in the regular season. To see a player take the summer and make sure they are accountable is a big part of the maturity and readiness for college hockey, and seeing Ariel in training camp this year we knew he was going to be a college player." - Coach Zaniboni

Here is what Ariel had to say on his news:

" I am very excited to be joining Wentworth Institute of Technology as a student and athlete. I have finally earned an opportunity to play NCAA hockey and I am very thankful that the coaching staff at WIT has offered me. I would like to thank Coach Zaniboni and the entire Seahawks Hockey program for everything they have done for me over the past two seasons. I want to thank my teammates for believing in me as a player and a teammate. I want to send a special thank you to my family, as without their constant support throughout my hockey career, this would have not been possible. I am excited to help the Seahawks run for a championship this season as I believe we have something special in our group. Lastly I would like to thank the EHL for developing me as a player and giving the players of the league to showcase in front of all the college coaches on a daily basis." - Ariel Kapulkin
