Huss makes number 12 on the NCAA list for first year Seahawks

On Thursday, the Seahawks got word that Jake Huss has officially committed to Anna Maria NCAA DIII.  Jake started the year as a d-man and transformed into a very reliable center-man.  Jake, stepped up in a huge way while the Seahawks were making the playoff push in the inaugural season. The Seahawks fell short of the playoffs, but with our college commitments it has been a fantastic first season.

" Jake was a great teammate and a guy that was extremely coachable. I am very happy for Jake and his family as he will play for a great coach and get a fantastic degree"

What Jake had to say:

I am proud to announce my commitment to Anna Maria College to continue my academic and hockey career. I am very excited to have an opportunity to play at the NCAA level and would like to thank my parents, coaches and teammates for all their support. As well as the Seahawks organization, from the owners to the staff they put together a team that made coming to the rink everyday amazing. I would like to especially thank coach Zaniboni for helping me reach my goal of playing college hockey. He pushed me to be a better player and person on and off the ice. Thank you to everyone, I wouldn't of wanted to end my junior career anywhere else."
