The Seahawks have signed 5'10 forward, Mathew Stewart for its first season. When asked why he choose the Seahawks, Stewart had this to say:

​"I am excited to sign with Seahawks for multiple reasons. Starting with the front office and the coaching staff. I have had the pleasure to play for Coach Zaniboni at a young age and had the opportunity to play for him this previous season with the Dells Ducks. As a coach he holds players accountable for their actions and not only develops them as a better hockey player but most importantly as a person. He is committed to the success of the players and the program as a whole and as a athlete that is a key factor in my decision . With his experience, my family and I are confident and excited to sign with the Seahawks to further my development as a player and a person."
