Paxson Turned Heads all Year

Coming in to the season the Seahawks knew they had good competition between the pipes to help compete daily in the EHL North. Goalie D.J Paxson a native from Eagle River, Alaska took the reign and never gave it away. The 20 yr old goalie knew this year had to be his best as it would be his last chance to secure a college spot, and he did not disappoint. D.J finished the regular season 17-10-1 with an impressive 1.84 GAA and a .922 save percentage, he also put up a .914 save percentage in the playoffs for the Seahawks.  D.J has a handful of schools that are looking for his services at the NCAA level as he will be making a decision shortly.

" DJ has starting goalie mentality, when colleges ask me about him the first thing that comes to mind is "Big Time Goalie." His passion and desire to get better and win are second to none and off the ice he is a well mannered young man. It has been awesome to be a part of his path to college hockey and see his maturity on and off the ice." - Coach Zaniboni
