Great Sophmore Season comes short in Playoffs.

The Seahawks entered the Season with hopes of building off their first year 15 NCAA commitments from year 1 and to add some more wins to the program.

The Seahawks went out and had a great showing this year and a record breaking year. We finished with a record of 26 - 16 - 4 and Second Place in the Division. On our way to that record, Trevor Veneklase had the first 50 point season, The PK finished  Second in the EHL with 89.3% , and DJ Paxson had 3 shutouts and 1.86 GAA.

The college commitments keep rolling in for the Seahawks with Veteran D-man John Banovetz heading to Norwich, Goalie Brandon Collett heading to Castleton, Veteran D-man Alex Ouellet heading to Albertus Magnus, Utility guy Kolton Smith heading to Framingham State and much more to add. This list continues to grow as the season gets long, which is why we do this.

Entering playoffs the Seahawks faced the Rangers in the EHL north battle. Game 1 was at the Rangers as they took the game by a score of 4-2 ( goals scored by: Banovetz, and Veneklase) Game 2 was the first home game of the Seahawks in History and it would take extra time to decide who would win. Rookie Jack Macdonald got the Seahawks on the board first, but in the second period the rangers tied it up. Going into overtime the Rangers found themselves on the powerplay, and capitalized to end the Seahawks season. This seemed like a negative experience for the kid as they put everything they had into the season, but it was all positive as the Seahawks took a step forward and are excited about the upcoming season.

Thank you to the players that have helped the Seahawks come this far in just two years, its very special.
